Disney Live Entertainment is seeking talented instrumentalists with dynamic personalities to be a part of our world- famous musical group, The Disneyland Band, performing daily at the Disneyland Resort, where it entertains its audience with a special combination of joyful choreography, great personality, and top-notch musicianship.
Performers in this offering are covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with the American Federation of Musicians. All those auditioning for the roles below must be eligible and willing to join AFM or be a member in good standing.
Rate: Multiple musician roles available, the pay range is between $42.42 per hour and $63.63 per hour, depending on role assignment. Roles are defined in the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) Collective Bargaining Agreement (Disneyland Resort and Orange County Musicians Union, Local 7).
Seeking: High-energy, engaging musicians with professional work experience, from the diverse spectrum of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, types, genders, and personalities.
Roles:
TRUMPET: Jazz improv a plus
TROMBONE: Jazz improv a plus
BASS TROMBONE ALTO SAXOPHONE
BARITONE SAXOPHONE: Clarinet doubles a plus
TENOR SAXOPHONE: Piccolo and clarinet doubles a plus BASS DRUM

To ensure that we have adequate time to see all of your talents, we kindly request that each candidate choose to showcase their proficiency in only ONE instrument during the audition (with the exception of Tenor/Bari Sax doubles – listed above). Thank you for your cooperation.
Requirements:
· Must have professional music performance experience (BA in Music preferred but not required).
· Performers must be at least 18 years of age and be authorized to work in the United States.
· These roles require physical exertion and working in all weather conditions.
· Must be willing to comply with all Disney grooming guidelines and employment standards.
· MUST be available for a potential marching/movement callback on November 17, 2023.

Brass and Woodwind Audition Instructions:
· Please prepare two contrasting selections showcasing musical and technical ability (16-32 bars).
· Be prepared to sight read.
Percussion Audition Instructions:
· 16-32 bars of two selections of your choice that showcase your musical and performance skills.
· Bring your own sticks. Instruments will be provided.
· Be prepared to sight read.
· Basic rudiments.
