DISNEY RESORT AUDITIONS
Disney Live Entertainment Is Seeking Skilled Trumpeters and Drummers to Perform the Role of Toy Soldier in A Christmas Fantasy, A Disney Holiday Classic Which Winds Down the Streets of Disneyland Park.
All musicians employed for this position are covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with American Federation of Musicians Local 7, Orange County (AFM). All those auditioning for the roles below must be eligible and willing to join AFM or be a member in good standing.
Seeking:
Experienced musicians of all gender identities, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds with strong improvisational skills and expressive, outgoing personalities. These performances will demand a passion for providing the highest quality entertainment and bringing fantasy and fun to resort guests.
Rate:
Multiple musician roles available; the pay range is between $41.18 per hour and $63.83 per hour, depending on role assignment. Roles are defined in the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) Collective Bargaining Agreement (Disneyland Resort and Orange County Musicians’ Union, Local No. 7).

Requirements:
• Must be available until 5:30pm for potential marching/movement and measurement callback (please note that having measurements taken is not a guarantee of final selection for the role).
• Please bring comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes for this portion (no heels).
• Performers must be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
Preparation:
• Create/update your Disney Auditions Profile with recent headshot, resume and current availability.
• Prepare 2 etudes (16 bars each)
o One emphasizing technical ability
o One showcasing lyrical ability
• Be prepared to sight read.
DRUMMER AUDITION INFORMATION

• Please bring comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes for this portion (no heels).
• Performers must be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
• Must have marching or drum corps experience.
• Must have command of a large repertoire of drumstick tricks.
• Performers will be expected to adhere to Disney Look guidelines once cast in the role.
Preparation:
• Create/update your Disney Auditions Profile with recent headshot, resume and current availability.
• 16-32 bars of two selections of your choice that showcase your musical and performance skills.
• Bring your own sticks. Instruments will be provided.
• Be prepared to sight read.
• Basic rudiments.
• Stick tricks.

The Long Beach Symphony announces auditions for the following position:
Principal Clarinet
November 15th and 16th, 2023
The Preliminary Round starts Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
The schedule of subsequent rounds immediately following preliminaries will be determined at auditions.
Auditions will be held at the Long Beach Terrace Theater at 300 Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA
